Overview:
Albion Projects were awarded this project after a competitive tender process.
The works involved the demolition of existing awnings and pavement and the construction of 3 new courtyard structures.
The new structures consisted of structural steel frame, zincalume external cladding, fibre cement internal linings, detailed glazing and timber works along with spectacular feature lighting.
The project involved numerous unique elements including the relocation of existing public artwork to facilitate the construction of the works.
The works were undertaken in a very tight site within the Hale St link precinct of South Brisbane.
